We received this note on November 13,
2000, from Rod Martin, a former president of the Witherspoon Society --
among many other things he has done for the whole Presbyterian
Church. From 1972 through 1990 he served as Executive
Director of the Presbyterian Health, Education and Welfare Association (PHEWA).

I am increasingly appreciative of the Witherspoon
Website and the way the information is presented. My hope is that this
will be broadly used across the church.
I am concerned about the apparent pandering of the CEO
of the church to the Laymen with the remarks concerning Dick Ficca. Two
of the members of our (small) church attended the conference and came
home feeling exhilarated from his presentation.
Keep up the good work, Doug, and all of those who
provide you the materials. Thank you - Thank you!
Rod Martin
