A reader comments on A Moment to
Decide on amazon.com
Reviewer questions the lack of response from
moderates and progressives to attacks from the right
[12-14-00]
On August 9, 2000, a reader from Pittsfield, Mass.,
put a note on the amazon.com web site, calling A Moment to Decide a
"a must read for all mainstream Protestants who love their churches
and oppose the rise of the far right in America."
The reviewer adds the thought that the book leaves
unanswered the question of "why so-called moderates and
progressives in the Presbyterian Church (USA) are unable or unwilling to
challenge the apparent betrayal and subversion that far right groups
like the Presbyterian Lay Committee seem to represent."
