March 7 - 10 -- Ecumenical Advocacy Days 2008: Claiming a Vision of True Security -- hundreds will gather in Washington, DC, for workshops, plenary, and visits to Congress.

March 14 – 24 -- Congressional Accompaniment Project Tour to Israel-Palestine

April 22 -- Earth Day, focusing on the interconnection between poverty and climate change.

April 27 - 28 -- Days of Prayer & Action for Colombia

May 3 -- Cultivating the Inclusive Church -- an interactive retreat for reflection and renewal -- 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Clarendon Presbyterian Church, Arlington, VA

May 10 - 25 -- Presbyterian Peace Fellowship Pentecost trip to Palestine, Israel, and Jordan

June 1 -- More Light Sunday

June 8 - 10 -- ENVISION: The Gospel, Politics, and the Future.  Princeton University.  Rita Nakashima Brock writes:  "We are offering exciting plenaries, inspiring preaching, and 20 Learning Tracks on issues such as climate change, war, sexuality, race, women, poverty, and human rights, with a broad array of perspectives, all focused on Christian engagement in politics for the Common Good of all."  Go to the Envision website for full information.

June 21 - 28 -- 218th General Assembly, Presbyterian Church (USA), San Jose, CA

June 22  -- Access Sunday

July 1 - 5 -- Church Unbound, a conference on building real diversity in the PC(USA).  Montreat Conference Center, Montreat, NC.

July 15 - 19 -- 2008 Presbyterian Peacemaking Conference: Sowing Mustard Seeds: Working for God's Justice - Confronting Poverty, Orange, California

July 17–20 -- 4th annual retreat for GLBTQ inquirers and candidates, in rural Indiana

July 28 - August 3 -- Paths toward Peace and Justice: Spirituality, Earth-Care, and the Prophetic Word in a time of Violence, Ghost Ranch, NM.  Nine seminars with varied topics and great leaders will guarantee a great week!   Witherspoon is co-sponsoring this event along with the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship, Presbyterians for Restoring Creation, and the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.

August 1-15 -- Delegation to the Philippines, Presbyterian Peace Fellowship

August 4-10  -- Multicultural Institute at Ghost Ranch

September 15 - 17 -- Gun Violence and Gospel Values, Stony Point Center.  Sponsored by Stony Point, the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship, the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program, and the Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy, this colloquium will explore ways in which the church must respond to growing gun violence in communities across the United States.

October 9 - 11 -- Mindful Living: Healthy People, Healthy Churches, Healthy Planet, National Council of Churches Eco-Justice Program biennial conference, in Alexandria, MN, at Lake Geneva Christian Center.

October 18-28 -- Globalization and Coffee: The Impact of Free Trade and Fair Trade on Colombian Farmers, Equal Exchange Interfaith Program

March 13-16, 2009 -- ECUMENICAL ADVOCACY DAYS – "Enough for All Creation.”  Washington, DC.
